Born January 26, 1959, Robert Scott Lazar is a polarizing figure in the UFO community. And he's no stranger to New Mexico, having lived in places such as Los Alamos (approximately 90 miles northwest of Albuquerque) and Sandia Park. During his stay in Los Alamos, Lazar ran a local photo-processing shop and claims to have worked as a physicist at the Los Alamos Meson Physics Facility (commonly known as LAMF by the folks in Los Alamos). In 1982, the Los Alamos Monitor published an article that discussed Lazar's custom jet car. It is in this article that Lazar is referred to as a "physicists at the Los Alamos Meson Physics Facility." According to Lazar, he was recruited by none other than Edward Teller to work at area S-4 of the Nevada National Security Site (then known as the Nevada Test Site) near Area 51. Needed a 36" wide stove, and this fit the bill. A pro-type range at a much more affordable price than the Wolf, Viking, Dacor, etc... What is is: A minimalistic approach to appliance design. Mechanical controls -- mechanical thermocouples to keep the flames lit. Requires a little more knowledge and understanding than more modern digital electronics, but very simple and probably highly reliable. Good news is that the thing worked well with a recent power outage... great to cook while the lights are off! Haven't done a lot of baking yet, but the convection features seems to be the ticket with this thing to keep the oven properly stirred up. Like the previous reviewer said, has a front fan to keep the door area cool, and this radiates some heat. No big deal for me. The burners are fine for me, but are not a powerful as some pro ranges which, in my opinion, are oversized for the normal home cook. I love the center burner and its 'wok ring' -- gets very hot and suits me fine. Styling is minimalist compared to other appliances. Like I said, no digital panels, simple knob turns do everything. I haven't made videos for a while because I've been sick. When I cleaned the mold and wax out of my ears, I felt some draining in the back of my throat and the next morning I woke up swallowing once every minute. My throat became infected and it spread to my lungs and nasal passages. I've been coughing up chunky green mucus ever sense. Though I decided to stop giving money to physicians, who were of no help, I ended up spending $50 at CVS pharmacy on Niquil, Mucinex cough drops and nasal spray. Then I found out honey was better than all these things. I haven't been around other people, so I could not have gotten sick from them. Although that was the same time the townhouses gave out free food from the state of Michigan. I noticed most of the free food was reaching its expiry date. The onions looked like they had mold on them. My advice would be not to accept any free food as it seems like the rich are giving it to the poor to kill them. A few years back, a homeless person asked me to give him a ride to the soup kitchen. I gave him a ride and he said I could come in and eat a free meal and I thought that would be a new experience for me. It was, the food made me deathly sick. And I believe it's because all the food at the soup kitchen was beyond its expiry date. This is why homeless people, rob people, although I doubt if they'll get any better food in prison, but it is probably better to die than eat the food at a homeless shelter.
